So free dining is being offered for august. And my family is staying at WL with us, but they have annual passes. I understand to get FD they have to purchase a package and buy two day park tickets.

But I wanted to find out if my aunt and uncle purchased the package but didn't connect their tickets to their KTTW card and got the paper tickets. I could use them for a trip in NOvember, and they would use their annual passes. Is there any rule on this?

And are they printing names on the tickets?

TIA

Your aunt and uncle's 2 day tickets will be encoded on their KTTW cards, which will have their names on them. There is no way to get around that as that is how packages work. Once you check in, you can go to any Guest Relations (I wouldn't ask the resort to do it) and ask them to separate the ticket from the KTTW card. Then the tickets will be on their own paper (Tyvek) card. At that point, they can give them to anyone to use because unused tickets ARE transferrable. So you would definitely be able to use them for your trip in November. HTH.
