I was just wondering if any of you belong to the Elks?

My grandfather was an Elk for many years. Was a great social outlet for he and my grandmother. When we would visit my grandparents, we would often go the Elks club for dinner on Friday nights. Thanks for bringing back some great memories.

A friend of mine is an Elk. They had to recently close the Elk center in my city which housed developmentally handicapped adults.

You can still find Fraternal organizations, (Elk, Moose, Masons, etc.) or Civic organizations (Lions, Rotary, Jaycees, etc) which all do excellent work and have good programs.

Why do you ask?

My Dad and my Grandfather are Elks...well Grandpa is gone now but he was. Hubby is a Mason...they are great organizations that do alot of good.
