Frasier guesses??? (WARNING: Possible spoilers)

I'm almost afraid to watch! I hope that he isn't too sick or anything. If they make him get a terminal illness, I'm not going to watch it anymore. I hate 'downer' shows!:D

Well, what is it??????? Don't hold back. Is it terminal? Is it kidneys? Since the toothache is what got him to the dr. I'm thinking its an eating disorder? He could pass it off easily. Or possibly a brain tumor that just felt like a toothache. (I know, I'm stretching LOL)

Bypass surgery.

Sorry didn't mean to tease you!! I was afraid that you only wanted guesses.:D

I read something that said he faced heart surgery. SOunds like they are doing a Bobby Simone on Niles.

I also heard somewhere that it was heart related

TV Guide says this "very special" Frasier is about Niles & his heart.

Can anyone tell me if Frasier was on last Tuesday (Nov. 5)? It was a major election for us here, so it wasn't on.

I don't think it was on here, or if it was it was a re-run. Heck, I can't remember. That was a week ago!!! :D

I used to love Frasier, but the past 2 years they've started resorting to 'sitcom' trcisk.

Now, 'a very special Frasier'

Wonder what's on HGTV tonight?

Good, I'm glad I read this thread. Now I'll skip the show. I hate sitcoms when they try to be serious. I've got enough serious in my real life, I don't need to watch Frasier to have more.

I totally agree about "serious" sitcoms. Any sitcom that has a "very special" episode is doing it because it is not funny anymore and they're grabbing at straws. Frasier has had some very funny moments that qualify as classic tv comedy, but that was several years ago. It's time to pull the plug.

I hate sitcoms when they try to be serious.

Thank you!!! I have felt the same way for a long time. I once had an English friend ask me why our sitcoms always have to be so serious. As soon as I heard the TV announcer say "A Very Powerful Frasier" I did one of these

Why can't sitcoms (which is short for Situation COMEDY) just stay funny? real life is bad enough. When I watch a sitcom, I want to escape from reality for 30 minutes.

I haven't seen Frasier since they moved it to Tuesdays. That made me mad because they replaced it with something stupid
