I need your help/opinion once again. :grouphug:

I have to buy another APs soon and I do not know which one is the best for us.

We are going at least 2 times a year to DLP and I do not care about block out dates or EMH because we always stay onsite.

I want to use these cards for buying in the shops and get discounts at restaurants.

With the Francilien I will get 10% at restaurants & shops.

With the Dream I will get 10% at more restaurants & 20% at shops.

With my Shareholder Card I will get 15% at restaurants and 15% at shops.

We will be out for lunch each day and buy a lot of souvenirs. :scared1:

When I buy a Francillien for my daughter and a Dream for me it will costs us 270 ,- € (with the 15% Shareholder discount).

2 Francillien will cost 202,-€ (with the Shareholder discount).

Thats a difference of 68,- €.

Is it worth it ? What do you think ?

a) 2 Francillien & Shareholder

or

b) 1 Francillien & 1 Dream

what about the non-contractual days on the Francillien? Days 2 and 3 after activation on the Francillien don't allow you access to the parks at all, regardless of whether you are staying onsite or not, do they :confused3?

Francilien and Dream give you 10% in exactly the same restaurants.

SH is only 15% in the t/s buffet restaurants no c/s except Earl of Sandwich.

The Dream gives you an apertif in the t/s restaurants

Perso I'd go for the cheaper AP's and use the SH for the rest :)

I've not understood if you need to get the SH or not. In that case I would say certainly yes! The upfront "cost" is higher now that you have to purchase 100 shares, but it's not really a cost, you can resell those in the future, it's more like an investment.

Do you stay onsite without purchasing a package with tickets included?
If you don't need the tickets, an AP is quite expensive just to get 10% on counter service restaurants and 5% on table service (with the Dream).

Otherwise it is a no brainer, if you visit twice a year the AP can save a lot of money.

No they don't so it would have to be Fantasy unless the fact that Thorsten is ordering ready made AP's from DLP directly gets you round this

The Ap's that you get by mail come with your photo on and they run from the date they were made out - thing to ask in that case is - Is the 2nd and 3rd jour from the moment you put your AP in a turnstile or the 2nd/3rd jour after the date written on the AP

Ups...a good point.

You are right. I´m getting these AP´s via post and I thought, that the 2md and 3rd day will be after the date written on the AP.

That means they will made it...send it to me and so i avaoid these 2nd and 3rd days.

Is this correct ?

:confused3

This is what I don't know ... I'd think so as it comes with a date on it but I think it would be best to check with DLP before ordering.

I'll look over on the French forum and see if someone had this situation :)

That would be nice, because I want to send the letter to them this week.

Thanks Carrie !

Edit #1:

This is what they say on the disneylandparis.frz site:

Votre Passeport Annuel Francilien 20e Anniversaire est valable toute l'année à l'exception des 2ème et 3ème jour suivant l'établissement du Passeport Annuel définitif ainsi que les jours de restriction suivants.

Edit #2:

This is what the German Custom Service wrote:

"Bezüglich der Karenztage bestätige ich Ihnen, dass die Jahreskarte Franclien nicht in den 2 Tagen, die auf den Kauf und der Ausstellung der entgültigen Abonnentenkarte folgt, genutzt werden kann. Da zwischen der Ausstellung und durch den Versand diese 2 Tage vergehen, können Ihre Jahrespässe daraufhin, und unter dem Respekt des Kalenders der zugänglichen Tage, nach Erhalt genutzt werden."

Which means the 2nd/3rd day begin after the date written on the AP. So if I order them via post they 2nd/3rd day will be over when the AP arrives me.

I have edited my last post with some informations about my problem.

So this is for a bump.
