France v Italy

i dont know if the world cup has been banned over here, but just wanted to say how delighted i am that france have got through to the final (for those of you that dont know dh and ds6 and ds 8 are all french, myself and dd 3 are british, its quite complicated. anyway, i just wondered if we could have some fun and see who you are supporting on sunday.

I was delighted France won last night, I have never seen a team dive around trying to con the referee as much as Portugal have done - they are a disgrace, Ronaldo in particular.

I would prefer Italy to win but just hope it is a good game.

Agree wholeheartedly. Portugal deserve to be banned from all international matches after their pathetic attempts at cheating. The refs should be able to view videos after the matches and re assess the results if there has been unfair play. It happens with F1 and horse racing!

On the performance of the semi final from Italy i am behind them all the way. They proved they were men and got up from challenges and never moaned. Unfortunately it is hard to get two games on the trot like that from the Azzurri so fingers crossed for the Final.

France gave the ball away too much to the cheats in their game, i feel as though if they do that again in the final they will be crushed. Expect a tight and potentially boring game. But i hope not

I want France to win! we were at DLP when the semi final was on and it was great, fantastic atmosphere in the Disney Village. we were cheering France on as we did not want portugal to win.!
