I'm am trying to decide which college to attend to next year and thought to ask for opinions on the most obvious board on the dis, heh.

If any of you guys know much about Framingham S.C., I'd really appreciate ANY comments.

I'm mainly curious about their English department. I'm also wondering what campus life is like (with unofficial word). How much "city" is it? In other words, will I hear lots of traffic?

I have narrowed my college choices a bit. I know I am going to become an English teacher for the secondary level. My college choices, so far, are Westfield State and Framingham State. Would any of you know which of the two is better for what I want to go into?

I go to Worcester State myself, but I've heard that Framingham State has an outstanding teaching program, my ex is actually considering transferring there herself next year to be an elementary education major.

My dd's half-sister is attending Westfield St as a freshman this year. She is studying early childhood but more in the special ed area. Framningham State is right on Rt. 9, but not a lot of traffic noise, at least not when I was visiting there. Either school is going to give you a very good basis for early childhood ed!

It's good to read there won't be much traffic noise!

I have done extensive research on both schools and it's difficult chosing which of the two is better for English. They will certainly be my number one and two choice schools, but I need to find a number one choice considering I plan on applying for early decision.

applepwnz, that is great to hear...err, read. heh.

My daughter goes to Worcester State as an Education Major and someone she used to cheer with just graduated from Framingham State this past Spring and she loved it there.

My daughter also has frriends at Westfield State and Bridgewater State and they seem happy with their choices also.

Good Luck on your decision.
