I was just curious if anyone decided to get the design on their aisle runner framed? If anyone did I would love to see pictures and do you know how the frame shop did it? Did they glue it to something? I really want to get ours framed and I know it will be a custom and pretty big frame but I think it would be really pretty.

Thanks
Michelle

As an art framer I can tell you they probably won't glue it to anything. If I were framing it, I would stretch the fabric over foamcore and use stainless steel straight pins to hold it in place along the sides. That way it will be nice, flat, wrinkle-free and reversible should you decide to take it out of the frame and use it for something else.

ohhh thank you for your thoughts! Its a shame you arent local... Now I gotta decide on someone to frame it for me. :)

You can check to see if there are any PPFA (Professional Picture Framers Association) members in your area. Not every good framer bothers joining the PPFA or getting their certification, but the people who do are usually pretty good at keeping up with conservation techniques, materials and trends. It's a good place to start if you don't have a relationship with a framer or any firsthand referrals. Here's a link to the website search.
