I'll admit that my family and I never really liked AK and considered it our "least favorite park" but FP+ changed our minds! I chose AK as the park to spend our last day because I was able to pick 3 good rides unlike Epcot or DHS and we already visited MK a couple of times. You should have heard the moans and groans from my kids when I told them that AK was where we were headed. We had Fast passes for KS, KRR, and EE. I have to say that having these in advance in the middle of the afternoon was fantastic! We arrived and went right to KS where there was a 50minute stand by wait and we walked right on. The length of the ride, our funny guide, and the amazing animals made this a new favorite! Next, we headed over to KRR and again, hopped right on by passing the 40 minute wait. Then we headed to EE - so much fun!:thumbsup2. Then we had lunch, enjoyed a few more rides, and then off to the airport. Having the ability to have 3 great rides booked without having to run around the park gathering Fast passes and waiting the two hours in between was great and really took the stress out of visiting the park. FP+ works for this park and I recommend any others who consider it their "least favorite" to give it another shot!

That's a really good strategy, thanks for sharing.

We have figured out that we need 7 days of FP+ to get what we want out of a WDW vacation. One day at AK, and doing pretty much what you describe above; EPCOT needs two days of FP+ to get the top tier done, 1 for HS, and maybe 3 days at MK? We'd be using hoppers, as we like to spend the evenings at World Showcase. Rope drop, EMH, and 6-7 days will work well for us. Glad AK worked for you! :)

The problem with Epcot is whether or not you want to waste your FP+ for the entire day for one good ride. We love Epcot so I decided to go ahead and use up our FP+ so that we could ride test track. We always go to Epcot late in the afternoon until closing which meant that we had no fast passes for MK that afternoon!

That's why we will do two days for FP+ at EPCOT, which will be afternoon/evening times, and the morning will be spent at MK at rope drop, with a swim/nap in between.

You don't do Soarin'? We'd be FP+ing Soarin' and Test Track as tier 1, with other stuff we don't mind doing for the other FP+.

You plan is exactly what I plan on doing for our AK day during our upcoming trip. Glad to know you were happy with it.

For the other parks we will be doing two 1/2 days in each park in the afternoons/evenings in order to be able to FP+ the rides that are tiered.

DisneyDolls, so glad this worked out for you but was wondering why this was your least favorite park.
