FP+ with Military Salute Tickets

We have a party of 4. My 3 family members are using 2-4-day Military Salute tickets each (for a total of 8 park days per person) and I have an 8-day park hopper. I have successfully made FP+ for 7 days for all of us, however, today when I tried to check current FP+ availability for today, MDE wouldn’t allow me to check using the Military salute tickets—only the regular 8-day hopper was still showing “availability”. I was able to do this before today. A box came up saying I’d reached the limit on FP+ availability for the other 3. I still need to make our 8th day of FP+ tomorrow and I’m worried I won’t be able to. Help! What am I missing?

Well, I called Disney and was told that as offsite guests, we can only book up to 7 days of FP+ in advance. I guess I'm okay with that answer, though I don't understand why it would let me go forward with the 8 day pass, and not the military tickets...

I believe it has more to do with the Military ticket code. There must be a 7-day max for Military tickets because they don't expire which makes them more like an Annual Pass.

Book your last FP and then as soon as the others use their FPs on their 1st day, try to "Change Party" to add them into your FPs for day #8.

Another thing to do is leave their AK day free of FPs and leave that as their open day to fill in after their first park day.

Thank you hiroMYhero for the insight and information. We can make it work without having to do the FP+s in advance, but I was a little concerned that it meant they didn't have an 8th day on their tickets. We have to exchange their tickets at Guest Relations anyway before our first park day, so I'll just make sure everything is in order at that point. Thanks again!
