FP+ with AP question.

My 60 days starts tonight at midnight. I have been through the FP+ threads and I thought that I was ready, but now I'm not so sure.

We have a 11 day trip coming up, but it is a split stay 6 nights at BLT and 4 nights at BCV. My whole party has APs.

First of all, there is no way to link the reservations so that I can do all the FP+ tonight, correct? So I think that I will be able to do 7 days starting tonight and then I will have to wait until next week for the rest.

My question is this. Day 8 of our trip is July 4th. If I only book 6 days of FP+ tonight will the system let me go in tomorrow and book that day as day 7 of our APs even though it is beyond the first reservation?

We are arriving late in the day and it is EMH at MK so we probably don't need FP+ that night. I would rather have more booking options on the 4th. We will be at DHS that day.

I have APs and am doing a split stay and was able to book my FPs for the entire length of my stay on the first day I tried. I'm sure it wasn't 60 days out since I don't even thing I booked my resort that close to check in time.

We've got a split stay coming up and had no trouble booking our entire stay at once, 8 days total at the 60 day mark. If it works for you as it did for us, you should be able to book the entire stay at once.

Thanks to you both. I hope it works out that way. I really don't want to have to stay up late multiple times this week. :-)

Thought I would update. I logged on at Midnight last night and my whole 10 day window was open. I was able to get everything that I wanted at the times that I wanted. I only needed one SDMT FP and I didn't need A&E so that was a help. The whole process took me half an hour.

It is interesting to me that it works this way. Last time I did a split stay I was not able to book ADRs for the second part of my stay until I hit the 180 day window. I remember that I was trying to get BOG and when I called the CM was only able to look at the first part of my trip.

I have no idea why it does this - seems to happen with AP's, but glad to hear it all worked out!

Thanks! I find the whole process stressful and having the holiday weekend in the mix made that worse.

I'm happy to report that there were tons of FP+ options available for all the days that I looked at.

That's great!

We found the same thing when we booked at our 60 day window. We got A&E for 5 at a great time for us, SDMT scheduled for every time we're in the MK. Had no issues whatsoever booking everything we wanted at the times we wanted.

I did have and continue to have an issue with only my account in that it's not recognizing our stay and only giving me the 30 day window. It's not really causing a problem because it only happens if I tried to book something just for myself- weird, but insignificant so I don't worry about it.

The other thing though I find strange about the AP, is that it is now is on a rolling 60 day window. It did this last year as well. Until our resort stay is over, I can see availability 60 days out from the current date. Meaning that today, I can see availability up until 6/28- days after our resort stay ends.
