FP window- Settle disagreement between me and my MIL?

I have done all our family’s WDW planning for years and even help friends with theirs.
I get our FPs without fail at 7am est.

We arrive May 6th. I have had a March 7th alert set on my calendar for months. This past weekend I asked my in-laws what FPs they wanted (MIL desperately wants to ride MMRR) and she insists I can book FPs on March 6th. She states “she heard it from Disney” and is VERY adamant on this point.

I have double and triple checked my math using 2 different websites and a paper calendar.

It is March 7th right? Or have I been doing it wrong all these years?

I’m probably going to check daily anyways but I just want to know how paranoid/prepared I need to be on March 6th.

I was fooled this year first by 29 days in February and then this week by 31 days in March. The "Booking Calendars" on several websites don't take this into consideration I guess. I got up at 5:30 a.m. for absolutely nothing. Had to repeat the following morning(s). Grrrr.

Ha! Thanks for the wisdom and jokes! I just don’t know where or why she got 3/6 from but as someone mentioned maybe it was the 31 days in March. And I usually do all her FPs for her. I think she is more excited about MMRR which is leading to her to think our check in of 5/6 means FPs are 3/6.

I didn’t even think to show her MDE but better part of valor is to “try” on 3/6 and then get the FPs on 3/7.

Do you really ever "settle" an disagreement with your MIL?

Last year my MIL was telling me that they were thinking of going to WDW soon and she would need to rent a scooter. She informed me that with the scooter they could go to the front of every line. I told her it no longer worked like that. She straight up did not believe me. We went on a WDW trip with them in 2016 and there were 2 wheelchairs in our group. She thought we didn't wait in any long lines because of the wheelchairs. NOPE it was me doing all the planning and using FP+ very well. OH, well, I tried. If she goes she will learn the hard way. LOL.

Well ... I buried mine.
For some reason I was nominated (last minute) to be my MIL's pallbearer. I (like nearly everyone I've met who's known her... including my wife) never had a nice thing to say about her. The feeling was reciprocated by her, heartily, in life.

And yet... I couldn't even dream of saying no.

MDE tells you when your window is. So it’s simple to check that. It won’t let you book before the window so just check there and screen shot it.

Update: I "tried" to get FPs yesterday but alas not available. I ACTUALLY did the FPs this morning and got us MMRR: I just snatched the first time I saw. So. Glad. That's. Done.

Just curious -- where in your stay did you manage to get the FP for MMRR? First day...last day...somewhere in between???? My FP day is coming up in a few weeks and I'm trying to figure out what to do with DHS -- too many things to do, not enough days to do them.

Day 4, late afternoon. My husband searched day 2 while I took day 4. We didn’t bother looking day 1 and we didn’t search day 3 (not planning on DHS that day).

Meant to edit my response but apparently started new post. also got MFSR day 2, evening. This ride wasn’t a priority for us since we’ve done it before so we didn’t search it right away.

My MIL told me once that I should NEVER apologize to my children, even if I was wrong. Enough said. Maybe we're related?
