FP+ via app in park after using the pre-planned 3 FP+

I just heard there had been some trials of guests being able to book additional FP+ via mobile apps (while in parks) after using their pre-planned 3 FP+ for that day instead of having to use the kiosks.

Any dissers on that trial? if so, what travel dates and when/how did you find out you were in that trial?

That would be great. I would much rather choose another FP from my phone while waiting in line for something rather than wait in line just to choose one.
