FP +time advice

Tomorrow I can make my FP choices. The only day I'm unsure about is day 1. We arrive in Orlando at 1110 am and then ME to Boardwalk Villas. Even if the room is not ready we head over to Epcot for a couple of hours. Dinner at Cape May at 545. Another consideration is that I have to stop at the gate to activate our APs and buy a TIW card.
Would I be good having a FP from 2-3, or should I bump it to 230-330? I would like to ride maybe test track that afternoon (they redid right after our last visit) and use one for Illuminations viewing after dinner. We have a full Epcot day planned on day 6 so we will book soarin and MS that day..

To be fair, Robo was a bit condescending and snarky with that last bit

I kind of have to defend the OP here for a minute. She wasn't asking for opinions on her scenario, she specifically asked about the timing of her TT FP.

I agree the Illuminations FP combined with the TT FP is a bit confusing, but maybe she's not aware those are both tier one.
