I will be able to reserve our FP+ in a couple of weeks. Starting to get nervous.... We are only going to MK and Hollywood Studios for 1 day each. What's your strategy to make sure you get everything done in a day? We love all the mountains, space, splash, thunder. We have 3 adults, 3 teens and a four year old.

And what is this I'm hearing about tiers? Can you not just pick your 3 favorites???

Arriving prior to rope drop is still the best strategy if you want to maximize your time. Use the time just after park opening to ride all of the headliners that you don't have a FP for. Also, it helps to use a crowd predictor (like easywdw.com) to help pick the least crowded park days.

Best strategy if you're looking to do as much as possible is still to get there at rope drop to take advantage of the short lines, and then back-load your FPs for the latter part of the day. At MK, if you have a FP scheduled before 11 a.m. or so, you're doing it wrong.

We have a young one when we travel as well, and our plan is to be there early and hit as much as we can until lunch-ish time. Then we leave the park, take a break, and schedule our FPs for the headliners to start around the time that we return -- 4:30 or so. If you're not taking a break, you might want to schedule the big rides earlier, in case you need to leave earlier than expected...

We have dinner at 7 at Crystal Palace that night and the park closes at midnight. We plan shut the park down:) we are these tiers I'm hearing about? Am I not going to be able to get all 3 'mountains'?

The tiers are not in place at MK, no worries, there. At DHS, you'll be forced to pick between RnRC and TSMM, you can't FP+ both of them.

Definitely read mesaboy2's link. Lots of great info there.

We get there before rope drop and ride as much as we can before lunch. We will then schedule the FP+ for the busiest time of day. Take a look at the Cheat Sheets at www.easywdw.com. They have charts of the busiest times of day for a given crowd level. Take a look at that. This gives a good idea of the wait times you can experience at different times of day. Very helpful for scheduling your FP+.

Have a great trip!
