FP splash or space?

On our first MK day, we have an 8:10 ADR at CP. park opens at 9 but they also have the extra morning magic hours that day. Our plan is to avoid Fantasyland in the am and head straight to Adventure and Frontier land. We currently have FP for 10 for Splash. Would you keep that or switch it for space? I can get a 10:50 for space. We have Peter Pan and 7dmt at 12 and 1:05.

We originally thought it made more sense to FP Splash instead of space since space's line was all inside. But I'm second guessing myself now that our vacation is less than a month away.

Since it is Extra Magic hours that morning I don't think it matters too much. I would just do the one you don't have a FP for earlier in the day so that you don't have to wait too long.

I think they're fairly comparable. Both lines build about the same, maybe Space builds a bit quicker...but Splash will get big fairly quick. Other thing to keep in mind is that it's not hard to get a 4th FP+ for either of those two, so I'd probably do that.

Yes, Space line is indoors, which is a big plus. I haven't waited in the Splash line in years, we always FP+ it, but I wouldn't want to wait in a line unless it was short enough that we were inside.

I would keep your FP and just do space after your breakfast unless it is the extra magical hours resort guess get then I would FP space and do splash first thing ( that side of the park is not opens for EMH.

If it is the paid event there is not enough people to make any difference

If you are planning to start your day in Adventureland/Frontierland I would switch your FP to Space. If you start riding at 9, you should be able to get Adventureland and Frontierland done with minimal waits and then you could head over for your first FP at Space.

I would do Space. The waits were long when we were there. There were multiple opportunities to get an additional FP for Splash.

The line for Splash seems to take longer to build than does the line for Space. It also seems that the line for Splash drops quite significantly at night whereas, once Space gets up there, it never really gets any shorter. I would FP space and ride Splash in the morning, the line will be minimal at that point.

Not that it matters too much, but do you mean "Extra Morning Magic," the PAID event in MK or do you mean "Extra Magic Hours," that are available for all Disney resort guests?

as people said, if you can get to splash before the line builds, then I would FP space. The problem with splash is once the line builds its usually always long as the thing tends to break quite a bit.
