Thoughts?

Staying offsite this week. Going to Epcot tomorrow. Planning to get there at RD. I thought I would do either of these headliners then set up my FP's for rest of day. Which one should I FP and which one should I standby? Opinions.

I am secretly hoping that Epcot will be like MK was this morning. While waiting for the opening show they had two CM with iPads setting up FP right in front of me in the "waiting corral". Then I can do my FP before I enter the park.

Just know I need to standby one and FP other and didn't know which way would work better.

Thanks!!

I've heard it's better to FP soarin b/c it's slow loading and at least you can design your car while waiting in TT standby...that's gonna be our plan if they decide to stick with the tiers for good. Have fun!

This time of year, as long as you get there 30 minutes before rope drop, you can probably ride both standby in the first hour then FP+ whichever one you like better to re-ride in the afternoon or evening.

Do TT first because it's quicker turnaround then soarin. Then go to soarin and if the standby at that point is too long, get a FP for it later. But I would bet you can do both of them tomorrow with minimal waits. Good luck!

We were there last week and arrived at 8:20ish. No Cm's like at MK because you have to pass through the ticket gate before you can book fp. We quickly walked to Soarin and walked on without a wait. Then walked over to TT and rode it with less than 10 minute wait. After TT, I booked fp for another TT after lunch because that's what my kids wanted to do a second time. The other fp's were useless because there were no waits at any of the other rides that we did. Hopefully your week will be as quiet as ours was!

With watching the app (MDE) it seems like waits on Test Track will drop to what I consider reasonable (30 minutes and less) at times through out the day at Soarin' doesn't. We FP+ Soarin' and then rode Test Track standby when the wait dropped to 20 minutes.

We used single rider line for TT several times this week with minimal wait. Only thing is you will get split from your party...we had no problem with that as our kids are older. Those with little ones might not like that. Soarin' was long waits all the time except during Illiminations. Good luck, have fun and take time to enjoy the atmosphere!

Thanks! We will FP Soarin and do TT standby I think. Unless the standby for Soarin isn't too bad. MK was pretty crowded today but we still enjoyed our day even if we left by 5.

Honestly, if you hit Soarin first then go directly to TT you'll be able to do both standby. We were just there last week and that's what we did.
