FP+ selection strategy

When making FP+ selections, I know you click on the day you are choosing and then pick 3. But what if i want to just pick one FP at a time? For example, 7DMT is a priority and I'd like to get it for more than just one day. Can I choose a Tuesday on my trip week get a 7DMT only then choose a Friday and do the same, then go back later and add two more FP+ selections for those days? Or do I literally have to it in groups of three for each day? Hope this makes sense. My selections are tonight and I have my list but I just want to go into with a good strategy as I'm also making selections for others too.

If only one ride is a priority, pick that and it will give you 4 options with your priority (if it was available) and 2 additional
Assigned attractions.

You can then change those 2 attractions to anything else at any time. Just don't cancel them because once you cancel it, it doesn't come back.

But you can't just book one and only one attraction.

no - if you only choose one you'll have to cancel that one in order to start again and get 3. Do all 3 at the same time. Do the days you want 7D first then do the rest of your week

Lisa has the right operation strategy - pick the one you want and let the system choose the other two for you, which you can then change later.

But the bigger picture is that if your window opens this week, then your trip is in mid-September. It's just not going to be crowded, and a few seconds here and there in making your selections is not going to make much difference.

My window opens on Saturday night and I'm going to relax through the whole process. (Caveat that I'm not trying to get Elsa in the MK, which is a different kettle of fish.)

Ok thank you all. Just wanted to go into the selection process with the correct way and know what Im doing before doing it especially since midnight and me don't get along, lol.

I also start with my last day. Bc your first day, is someone else's last day, Kwim? So they may be pretty picked over on your first day of travel. I think I got that tip from touring plans dot com. It worked well for us! I started with A/E on our last day and that litetally was the only day I had any chance of obtaining it. Mine train I got the first day without an issue.

Good luck!!!

Check out the first post of Mesaboy's thread on FP strategies. I believe he has a link with a tutorial that shows you how to do this.

If it makes you feel better...my time was midnight today and I didn't do it til 8am. I got mine train twice and it was still available on a third occasion, I just wanted something different

That does make me feel better. Thank you.

That's the magic of September. If anyone is reading this thread in the last week of October, you're going to playing an entirely different tune.

How about November? 10-18 specifically...
If you mean making reservations at that time, that puts you in mid-January for the visit, which is another low time. You're right around the marathon at the beginning, which brings many people but has less of an impact on attraction demand. The end is at MLK weekend, which brings significant demand.

If November is the time of the visit, I'm less familiar with that time, but it will be prior to the Thanksgiving surge. Nonetheless, reserve your more popular attractions as soon as you can.

I got everything I wanted last midnight except the coveted Anna and Elsa which I think was a bug. It said it was available, I clicked on it and two other choices, went to the next page to modify the time and all of a sudden it says cinderella and rapunzel, argh! But the kiddos weren't dead set on it so I let it slide. I got 4 7DMT FP's at times I needed them for, so yeah! Perhaps we could shoot for anna and elsa after a pre park open breakfast. Tonight will be an early bedtime, my body is feeling the lost hours.
