FP +/Rider swap question

I just got back from my vacation and I wanted to report back. We used rider swap with no problems. They never checked the second person's (the swapper) FP's so we were able to pick different headliners and then just rider swap so we both got to ride them. The rider swap pass became the second person's fastpass. It was great!

Thank you!!! I've been looking for people who have done this since the full changeover and didn't get any responses on my own post. Since I keep making my ownself confused, humor my silly question if you would...

We have 2 18yos, me, my 11yo and my 3yo. We'd like to book the FP+ for the 18yos and a 3yo friendly ride for me and my 2 girls. We'd go to the ride with 18yos and get a rider swap pass for me then I'd take my girls elsewhere. After the 18yos ride, I could ride the headliner on the rider swap with my 11yo if she's wanting to ride too. Do I have this all straight?

Also, can you confirm how many people were able to ride on the rider swap?

I can confirm that our rider swap passes we received in February (good until the end of the month) stated that they were valid for entry for 3 guests total. We also did not need FP+ for anyone but the people entering the line the first time to receive the pass.

That was going to be my plan too! Can I use DD's MB for FP+ at TT and then just switch bands? She's only 3 and won't be tall enough, but DS will be.

Yes you can switch bands. We did it for every attraction my DD wasn't tall enough for and my mom didn't ride due to fear.

We used rider swap for early mornings or in the event of a short standby line at the time we were near the attraction. Someone would ride standby with our son, getting rider swap for whoever was staying with our DD. Then later on that afternoon/evening, my parents & sister would meet us and we'd ride the attraction again with my dad and my sister with our FP+ and then three more ppl would get a 2nd ride (we took turns) using the rider swap card too. It was awesome.

Basically what I'm saying is if you have a child that is too short to ride, use the morning to get your first ride in on all those rides and collect rider swap for later that afternoon/evening OR even later in your trip - the rider swap is actually valid beyond that day.
