What generally happens if you have booked a FP for a ride that then goes down for refurb after booking? Do you usually get an anytime FP? Thinking about Spaceship Earth and the rumors of refurb and our January and March 2020 trips-already booked January FP's-

Generally, you will be automatically issued a "substitute FP" for a "substitute attraction."

It would then be up to you to try to change that "substitute attraction FP" for another, if you prefer (and if possible.)

This is what happened to us.

I would be surprised if spaceship earth went down until after test track came back up. That is too many major attractions down at once.

Spaceship Earth's refurbishment schedule will 99% likely be part of getting fastpasses 60(+) days out. If you're able to get Spaceship Earth passes, it'll be open during the trip.

I've had both types provided.
Some (most) I've been issued a random replacement FP that I was able to then change to something else I wanted
At least once I got issued an anytime FP, which was the ONLY GS FP I've ever gotten that also worked on FoP

This was our experience s well.

When we had a FP for an attraction that went down, that was when we got the anytime FP.

So that means we will soon find out when SSE will be down when folks aren't able to schedule FP+ 60+10 days out?
