FP+ reservations, need clarification

So I have a ressie at POR November 10-16...my mom and I are purchasing tickets and my aunt/kids are doing Florida resident passes. Paying the room ressie off first then purchasing tickets...

Can I make FP ressies without tickets purchased yet just the room reservation?

I'm sure this is a stupid question but magic bands/FP+ is all new to me...

You can only make FP reservations when you have a valid ticket and only to the parks you have tickets to unless it's an annual pass or park hopper. You need to link the valid ticket or pass to your account before you can choose FPs.

No, you have to have tickets paid for before you can book FP+ selections.
