FP+ Questions

I am slowly learning about all the changes since I was there last April, but I have a couple questions (for now).

1. Can you make FP+ for the same ride more than once on the same day? For example, if I wanted to make one for Splash Mt. in the morning and then again in the afternoon, is that possible or do the 3 need to be for different attractions?

2. I read that you can change your FP+ choices once you've arrived at WDW by either using kiosks in the parks or an app. So, if before I left home I decided one day of my trip would be at MK, and we decided that we'd rather do Epcot that day, they can be changed. My question is can you see what is available at the other park before you cancel the ones you made previously or must you cancel first? I ask because even though I like to plan, I like some flexibility in a 2 week vacation. I would also assume that many FP+ would be gone by the day of, so I would not want to cancel the ones I had and then find I couldn't get others at a different park. I hope that made sense...I was rather wordy.

Thank you for any help.

1a. Nope.
1b. Yes.
2a. Yes.
2b. Yes.
2c. Nope.
2d. Yes.
2e. Logical, but that can certainly vary by attraction, park, and date.

Can I jump into this thread too, please? :goodvibes

We most likely will be there for two days at the very end of February. But we don't have resort ressies yet.

I've been reading as much as I can but am still confused. I am definitely keeping an open mind though because **change is the only constant in life** and that includes WDW! :)

So my questions:

1) Do we absolutely have to have resort ressies before we plan our FP+?

2) As the OP asked, while we can't have more than one a day per attraction, are there still paper FP kiosks? And if so the kiosk will 'know' that we already used our FP+ and not allow us to ride again, yes?

3) Once we have our resort ressie (soon I hope!!!) what exactly do I do first to start?

1. You can plan them, sure. You just can't select any.

2. No more paper kiosks.

3. Create an MDE account and link your tickets and reservation.

See the green link in my signature for more information.

A couple corrections are needed to post #2. You CAN see availability at the other parks before you cancel your current reservations. You'll be given the four time options and if you don't like it you can back out without canceling your current selections.
