FP+ Question

As an example, lets say I make a FP+ reservation for Splash mountain and I get a return time of 1pm to 2pm. Now, I go to Splash mountain and the wait is only 5 minutes. Can I change my fp to a different attraction if its 1:15 or is my reservation already locked in because its past my return window? I'm just wondering because I would be really upset if I had to use my FP for a 5 min wait when I could use it on another attraction with a longer wait. I normally would never get a FP for a wait of only 5 min.

Just got back and I'm pretty sure I was able to change it during the allotted time of the fp+. Just can't change after use obviously, not sure about changing after the time passed if it wasn't used. There were a few times when I wasn't sure if I'd make it on time so I pushed it back a little bit. It worked very well using the app.

Yes, you can. Just back and did it several times.

I have read that some people were able to change unused fastpasses even after the window. I haven't tried it so I can't personally verify.

We were able to change it after the time expired in November.
Dinner ran over and we came out and were able to take the slot we missed and make it a later time, but there weren't too many times left to pick from.

Yes, it is confirmed you can change FP windows, even those that have completely passed unused.
