FP+ question with tickets NOT in package

O.k. I was ordering tickets for family joining us on our next trip tonight. I want to have them "attached" to their magic bands so that I can make their reservations with mine soon. Should I get these tickets will-call or mailed out? Which way is correct for having them show up in MDE?

If you get them will call you can still attach them. I bought an mk ticket and got one free from work and was able to attach both on the website with the will call number.

For anyone else with this issue, if you buy them from Disney and use will call it will automatically attach to your MDE. Well hopefully at least!! We all know that MDE glitches often but this is what it did for me!

If I buy park tickets in advance and choose will-call, can I pick up the tickets at the booth several months afterwards? or do I have like, for example, only two weeks to pick them up?
In July we go to WDW, but we want to buy tickets next week using the "Will-Call" system and collect them at Downtown Disney when we arrive. Will be on off-site hotel.
