So, as I was trying to go to sleep last night, I started thinking about this. We have a 6 year old who probably will not ride some of the bigger rides yet (i.e.: Space Mountain, Expedition Everest). What do we do about Fast Passes? Like, if DH, DD #1, and I want to get a FP+ for Expedition Everest, we would all make them together, but obviously we cannot leave DD#2 alone to go ride. What do we do about this? How do we handle it? I know they had a system before to trade off riders. Can we do this with our FP+? Like all go in line together, one of us wait with DD#2 while the others ride? Thanks!

Yes it's called baby swap you ask for a baby swap ticket as you get in the fastpass line and it will let I believe up to three guests come back thru the fast pass line again.. Used it on several rides last October

There is debate about whether this works for children who don't want to ride a ride. In theory (or so I've read we've never used it) it is for kids and their families where the child doesn't meet the height requirement.

Rider switch.....The website says it is for those who do not wish to ride. The CMs were trained that it is for those who are too small to ride. No one has reported back (that I've seen) having shown the website info to a cm who says it is for those who are too short.

I used the rider swap for many years before both of my younger children were tall enough to ride everything. It is most often only given if your child is shorter than the height restriction on the ride. Have 1 adult and the older child ride and then the 2nd adult ride when the first comes back. My ds12 does not ride any thrill rides and I have never been able to get a child swap after he reached the height restrictions. We worked it out on our own until he was about 8 when he started walking through the line and taking the chicken exit and waiting for us at the exit.

Like WantToGoNow suggested, just use your FP+ as a rider swap. Your older daughter gets to ride twice (once with each adult) using the younger daughters magic band for the second ride.

My experience was I simply asked for it and they handed me one. But when I was asking I was already using a fast pass me and my 14 year old while my wife waited with my one year old. I could see how it could be abused as an on the spot fast pass.
