Hi there. We have 8:05 reservations to do the Chip and Dale breakfast at the Land on our last day of our trip...Wed, 2/13/19. I am going to be setting up FPs for our group in a couple days. This is my question...

Since we are going to be doing the breakfast will it be possible to jump right on to Soarin' after breakfast W/O using a FP therefore saving a top tier selection for Test Track or Frozen?

Also, how strict are they with the height requirements for Test Track? Our littlest might miss the 40" by less than 1/2 an inch. :guilty:

Thanks for any help.

Even if you are done a little after 9, I would still use your FP for either Frozen or TT, the line won't be bad at Soarin yet. If the child doesn't measure to the line, they won't let them ride.

Yes it will be very possible for you to have a short wait for
Soarin'.
Use your tier 1 for Frozen or Test Track.
Is their height with or without shoes? They measure with shoes on.
Disney is strict. If the child is not tall enough they cannot ride period.
Keep in mind Soarin' also has a 40 inch height requirement.

Just a thought, but if you can back your ressie to 8:15 even, you could ride Soarin with no wait at RD then go to breakfast...

Even if you don't get out of breakfast early and the rope drop crowd beats you there, you'd still want to have a FP for TT or Frozen instead of Soarin. Soarin usually has the lowest wait of the 3.

Height requirement is very strict as it's a safety. If they measure and a child's head doesn't hit the mark then it's a no.

Last February, we had a 8:05am reservation for Garden Grill; park opened at 9:00sm. We were seated right away and left at 8:45am and they let the Garden Grill people go through the Soarin rope at 8:45am, we were off soarin at 8:58am. It was Presidents’ Day weekend so we didn’t want to dash with the crowds to TT so we instead enjoyed a quiet right on Land of Living at 9:00am since we were just steps away. Not sure if they still let the Garden Grill people that early onto Soarin these days or not but even so, I would hate to back track since you will already be right there.

Strict on height req. If he doesn't hit the line by ANY margin he won't be allowed on the ride (or in the line)

They are strict with measurements. Have him practice standing straight and tall (with shoes), including keeping his head up. Also, kids tend to shrink a bit at the end of the day (seriously, not kidding here), so do the 40" rides first thing.

Get to Epcot by 7:30, to be one of the first to enter. We did, and were the first group seated. We had a great breakfast, met with the characters twice (great interactions), and left for Soarin at 8:45. They let us right on, and we got out just as the rd crows was arriving. We got right back on line, and had only a 10 minute wait.

Get the FP for Frozen, in case DS doesn't measure up for TT.
