FP+ question & adding on days...

I just have a question about FP+. We are booked into POP for 3 nights. We currently only have 2 day park hoppers. We are planning on upgrading to 3 when we get there due to deciding to cancel an ADR at 'Ohana's the first morning. Can I make FP+ reservations for 3 days even if I only have a 2 day park hopper on my MDE at the current moment?

You can only make FP for the number of days you have tickets.

Ok, so my parents have a 1 day ticket right now on their reservations because they also have one day NE Park Hopper from an unused ticket. She is upgrading to a FL resident AP when we arrive, as that's what they instructed her to do instead of doing it now... Does that mean that we can't make more than 1 day's worth FP+ reservations for her as well??

Each person named on an MDX account can make FP reservations for the number of days they have tickets linked to them on that account. If they have only a 1-day ticket linked, they can make FPs for 1 day only. It is unclear to me reading your post if they have 1 or 2 days linked.
