FP+ online reservation system not working

Today is the first day we are able to make FP+ reservations for our March 2014 trip. The online system, using my computer, kept bringing me back to Step 4 [where you choose your 3 options]. I phoned Disney at 407-939-5277 and spoke to an agent. I was told that the website FP+ system is being "worked on" and to try back in a day! Anyone else have this problem? Should I be concerned about securing specific attractions and times with the delay? I've read sooooo much on the Disboards [thank you everyone for posting such informative information :worship: ] about MDE and FP+ and felt prepared to have a go at making our reservations. So disappointed it's not working properly!

In a word: No.
There are plenty of FP+ available for each day.
If you can do it tomorrow or even next week or in a couple weeks you'll get everything you want.

Do you have a smart device that you can use the MDE app? Recently, due to a change of our plans, I had to reschedule all of our FP+'s for our upcoming trip, and after several failed tries from on my desktop computer, I found that I was able to accomplish all my changes using the MDE app.
 

I do :). I will give that a try! Thank you for the suggestion, I don't know why I hadn't thought to try it on my phone!!
 
FYI (you may know this already from reading boards): There are some bugs and lock up points in MDE.

I've found at least on the web browser version it tends to lock up when making a FP+ change (the change still takes effect). I've noticed on a Windows browser like IE or Chrome you might get an error message. If you do, look for the "fast pass+" in the link list on the bottom of the page. You can get back to the day you were on fast from that point. On Apple Safari browser, I have seen it get an all white screen lock up at that same point.

The app seems to work better but is slower to navigate/use IMO and seems overall slow at some times.

I agree, the app has it's flaws too, but at least I got done what I needed to do. I had nothing better to do that day anyhow.:rotfl:

As a side note, periodically I am not able to see my FP+'s in MDE, I get an error message that says "We're sorry. There was an issue locating your FastPass+ arrival window times. Please try again later or call (407) 939-4357 for assistance. " so if I want to review my FP+'s, I still have to use the app. Don't know why the two system don't seem to be talking to each other.:confused3
