FP+, MVMCP ticket, and 1 day park hopper ticket?

i guess i just don't quite get how its all supposed to work.

i have a MVMCP ticket for december 4th and i have a 1 day park hopper which i'm using on december 5th.

i recently saw a thread where the person was in a similar situation with MNSSHP and that person said that only their regular park ticket would allow for FP+ selections and when the person would make FP+ selections for another day and then try to make FP+ selections for the MNSSHP day it would delete the regular ticket day and want to use the regular ticket for the MNSSHP day instead.

my FP+ window opens at 12am on october 5th (so tomorrow night really) and that thread threw me for a loop and now i'm not sure how it will all work.

so am i going to be able to make FP+ selections on the 4th for the party using the party ticket and the 5th using the regular ticket or not?

not DURING the parties (7pm-12am) but since you are allowed to enter MK at 4pm with your party ticket you can get FP+ during the remaining regular park hours.

i'm just confused as to whether or not my MVMCP ticket will allow for me to make FP+ selections or not since someone else that was in a similar situation as i will be in said they could not.

You should be able to book fastpasses. I am going to MVMCP on Nov. 12th and my 3 day park hopper is for Nov. 13th to Nov. 15th. When my 60 day window opened up, I was able to book fastpasses for all four days.

i'm not sure if they fixed that glitch.

When i went in to make our FP+ for our trip in a week i had to use another ticket we had set aside for another visit next year for our MNSSHP day. It wasn't reading that we had a ticket for MNSSHP thus we should have been able to make FP+ for the party day.Luckily i had that ticket on hand or i wouldn't have been able to book the FP+ for that day of the Halloween party..

I hope we'll get that day back as it's my understanding if you have the hard ticket for the party we should have been fine to make FP+ between the hours of 4 and 7pm.

So now i have to make a trip to Guest services to get that day put back on the ticket i had to use for the MNSSHP. Hope this make sense.

well looks like i was worried for no reason.
it went smoothly as usual
i was easily able to make FP+ selections from 3:30pm-4:30pm, 4:30pm-5:30pm, and 5:30pm-6:30pm on my MVMCP day.
as well as at epcot the following day with my one day ticket.
