So my FastPass+ was available last night at midnight. At exactly midnight I logged in to schedule "MEET A&E AT PRINCESS FAIRYTALE HALL" because I heard it was the most difficult to schedule.

Within 15 seconds of 12:00:15 I was logged in and I received this message "FastPass+ Distribution Has Ended for Selected Day"???

How is that even possible? I checked other days on our trip and I received the same error. Any suggestions how to schedule this FP later down the road? Or should we just shoot a B-LINE right out of the open gate to this attraction?

It isn't an error. The FP+ have just all been taken. If you really want them, keep checking one person at a time until you get overlapping times. I am under 30 days a way and still working on getting all 7 of ours overlapping.

What about the strategy to be at the Magic Kingdom gate right before they open and run straight to this attraction?

My 60 days is tonight and my daughter decided that she wants to see Anna & Elsa this trip. According to the Dibb the FP for Anna & Elsa are gone for our entire trip so I'll just have to keep searching. If we can't get FP there's almost zero chance we'll wait in line since we aren't line people.

On our trip in May, we stumbled upon a 10 minute wait for the sisters just before midnight on an EMH night (the EMH hadn't started yet). It's a risky strategy, but if you can't find FPs and are able to stay late, it might be your best shot. It was perfect timing, and even people who weren't resort guests were able to wait because the EMH had not begun!

Keep in mind that the A&E lines closes a half hour before park closing time, so don't wait too long to jump in line.

Just a few weeks ago, we visited A&E just before 11:30 pm. The posted wait was 90 minutes but the actual wait was only 10. We still had time to ride 7 Dwarfs twice before the park closed at midnight. We felt that this was a very efficient use of our time and much better than what could be accomplished in the morning.

It depends on how long your trip is- my window was last night too, but I'm booking for a 9 day trip. I was able to get A&E twice, but only for the last two days of our trip.

The same thing happned to me as well. It took me about a week of stalking the app (which I found was easier for this than the actual site) and I was able to get the 2 I needed.

Okay, questions about if you're gonna try to "stalk the app" & get lucky to find an A&E FP. Forgive my FP stupidness that is surely to come...

- how do I book an A&E FP if I've already booked my 3 FPs? won't the app not show me if they're available or not because it thinks I'm going to other attractions?
- how do I switch a FP for A&E if I do find 1 available?
- can someone walk me through this process as if I'm 3 years old?

Please be patient, as I'm guessing these are dumb questions. ;)

My daughter and I did that last week. We ended up being in line 35-40 minutes. But she's small and can't walk that fast--you may have better results if you can get back to Princes Hall faster. :)

Is it a faux pas to jog thru the park pushing our stroller?

I'm also curious about average wait time for A&E at rope drop. Our kids can't do the late night thing so we gotta do rope drop since FP were all gone before our FP date too :-/

There are cancellation threads on this board (much like the ADR cancellation threads) - at least there have been in the past. It was through a thread like that that I got our only A&E FP+ last year. So if those threads are still around, I recommend subscribing to one.

It's also worth checking periodically, as there are cancellations. I've heard around the 45 day mark is a good time to check, because that's when people have to cancel packages by.

Aside from that, then yes, I would plan on rope dropping A&E as the absolute backup plan. But if you want to do A&E at RD, and *not* have the wait in line, then you'll need to be at the park at least 30-45 mins prior to rope drop (depending on how busy it is during your trip) - so that you're at the *front* of the RD crowd. If you're at the back, as we were last year, it hits a 90 min posted wait very quickly.

Those kids just might surprise you. My fondest Disney memory is chasing my then 3 yer old daughter back to the entrance of Space Mtn moments before midnight with her screaming "one more time Daddy" all the way.

Maybe! I am not sure I wanna close the parks though - no car and double stroller on the bus. Yucko. :-D
