There are so many people complaining about the new FP+ system, some who have not even used it yet. Yesterday around noon we decided it would be nice night to head to epcot. I hoped online to the disney webiste, picked test track, nemo, and figment, found a set of times that worked pretty well and we were able to do what we wanted during the afternoon until it was time to head to the park.
The first two rides, Nemo and Figment were close in time and proximity so we were able to ride them back to back. Then we wandered around looking at flowers and let the kids play on the Monsters, Inc playground. We grabbed a snack, rode the boat ride in Mexico, which is way better than It's A Small World. Time for test track and we then had the choice of staying for Illuminations of leaving.
I can see how it may not be perfect, but in its current state FP+ is awesome. We could have made our times even more spread out and fit other rides in between our fastpasses. Nobody wants to wait in lines, but if the system tried make it so nobody had to wait in a line, everyone would be waiting in line.

I sure can't see getting a FP for figment and nemo as a + in any context. I have used the system, and wasting FP in Epcot will never be part of my strategy again.
. I want to have a good feeling about FP+ so I will now stop reading the disboards until my June trip! Thanks OP.
