I am planning a trip for 3 groups traveling together and while we are not new to WDW this is our first FP+ trip and I thought I knew what I was doing...wrong!

First, since I'm "in charge" of the planning, I'll be making all the ADRs and FP+ reservations. When I make the ADRs, is there a way to book for our whole "party" at once or do I have to log in and out of each email and hope we can get them together?

Next, when we go to make more FP+ reservations in park, do I need to have each band (or each person there) to scan and pick or again, is it by party?

Since I'll be booking all three trips, I need three separate disney accounts/emails correct?

THANK YOU! :smickey:

Answers to many FP FAQs like yours can be found in the green link in my signature.

You do not need separate e-mail accounts, all trips are typically handled on one.

If the others in your party want any control at all, i recommend that at least one adult in each room have their oen MDE account (separate email and password for each) and be in charge of themselves and all the people in that room. You can still plan for them, but they can also view and change plans if needed.
In this case, you'll have at least one account per room reservation and you will all list each other as Friends and Family in your MDE accounts. This gives you the ability to view and make plans for each other (ADRs, FP+)

If you will do it all and no one else will need to do any viewing, paying, online checkin, etc, you can make all reservations and plans under your own MDE. I dont recommend this as it means you are the only one with the answers all the time.

Specifically for ADRs you dont need any resort resrvation at all to book restaurants; if at least one of you has a resort reservation, you can make ADRs for your whole group at 180. Days + length of trip for everyone. (When my big family group went, i was the only one with room booked at 180 days out. I made dining ADRs for all of us and linked it to their MDE accounts later)

In the parks, one band at the kiosk will allow you to get extra FP for all linked family members.
