FP+ help - limit and Halloween Party?

It says I've reached my FP+ limit. We have 7 day tickets as well as 1 Halloween party ticket. We've made 7 days worth of reservations. I'm trying to make 4-7pm reservations for the Halloween party now and it says we've reached our limit. Am I doing something wrong? I had read that others could reserve FP+ for the first three hours right before the party.

You can only reserve the number of days you have tickets for. People Are using fp from another admission day to do this, I don't think you can make fp using only your party ticket.

Okay, I was taking it to mean that since we have 8 days worth of tickets, we should be able to make 8 days worth. Oh well! We do have some old never-expire tickets hanging around, but only for 3 of the 5 of us, so that won't work.

I realize it's very late, but would I be able to use FP+ in the park at the very least if we get to the party before 7pm?
