FP Glitchy or Rules Changing ?

EXIT : Changed title as found my answer in the FP sticky - so, basically could have booked FPS two days ago ! Thought it went by dated tic and first day of use, not check-in date

Decided to bite the proverbial bullet and buy my park tix today -

We're in NYC, and my kids really want to go -- so, fingers and toes crossed for July 14 !

Anyway - few things I noticed - even starting at + 4 , MMRR was harder to get than
FoP !

Also, a few times I was able to book a tier 1 twice for the same day - was able to book FoP for afternoon AND evening , and both show up on MDE - assuming that's a glitch ?
Couldn't be that Disney will let guests book tier 1 twice in a day because of lower capacity at reopening, correct?

I'm going to go more with glitch. My trip starts July 8th and I could not get FOP at all and no tier 1 at DHS. Doubt normally you could get FOP twice.

I’d go with glitch. As for availability, it’s been extremely tight for the last month or so. I think they’ve reduced the number bein release. We have a13 dat trip and things didn’t really start opening up until the 6th day. That’s unheard of.

Gitch! I was able to get SDD and MMRR on the same day when I booked Wednesday morning. However, eventually MMRR went away, which was what I wanted. FP were sucky this time for our July 12th trip.

Feel free to chance it and hope to be that lucky. If you don’t want to gamble and either lose your preferred time or lose both I suggest you fix it yourself. If I have ridden it many times I would gamble if I have never I would not risk it.

Definitely a glitch. I booked for July 13-18 on Thursday. I couldn’t get Mickey’s Railroad until 5 pm on Saturday. Only 1 tier one at any park. Even MK rides were very limited.
