FP+ Glitch?

Going down in June with another family, staying at the Boardwalk Villas. We are arriving a day before the other family, staying at CSR. We were able to make FP+ reservations for both groups yesterday even though it was 60 for us but 61 for them. Is this normal or was this just a weird glitch? I have to say, I was thrilled as it allowed us to get FOP earlier than we thought we would.

Normal. As long as someone on your friends list is staying on property, as long as the others have valid tickets, it opens up the 60 day window for everyone regardless if their staying on site with the guest.

I'm an AP holder and had someone staying on property. When their 60 day window opened it opened for me as well even though I wasn't staying on site.

The booking opens for all days.

Onsite to onsite Split Stays open FP booking for all days when the window opens for the first onsite stay.
