I'm not a resort guest, I'm an AP holder. I entered Epcot with my pass with my family and was asked to be part of the test rollout for Passholders magic bands.

I was told I could tie them to my Disney Experience as early as tomorrow and could make reservations for attractions up to 60 days in advance starting tomorrow.

There's no charge to annual Passholders.

Darn, wish I'd been chosen yesterday! But good to know this should be coming for passholders soon.

I'm jealous!!!!! We were at HS this morning and DH was so frustrated with FP+ he told me he won't renew our AP's unless they make advance reservations available to us. Hopefully it will be rolled out to all of us soon. :)

Thats good news. Been waiting for mine for ever as a Premium Annual Passholder. So much for last year as we were promised. They better be working when I do my Run Disney event.

Awesome...great news that they are testing the 60+ for passholders!! Hope they roll it out very very soon!

Any update on how many days of FP+ can be made/held in advance? Last time I checked it was only 7 days worth of FP+ at a time.

Still 7, I just tried. I have an AP but currently no resort reservation. I can make reservations up to 60 days in advance.

Thanks - great news for pass holders (I am one). I have been able to do this, but only because of previous stays at WDW resorts.

This is HUGE news for local AP holders! :goodvibes

Stipulating this is very new, and that I am having trouble wrapping my mind around it, for the 7 days of FP+, are you able to "reload" if you use one day's worth?

Example: you are offsite, with AP. You plan 7 days in a row of FP+. Once day one ends (and now you have only 6 days of FP+ planned) are you able to add a 7th day of FP+?

Yes.

Yup.

It is a "rolling" 7 days of advance FP+.

..and then it will be tested for offsite guests...and then they will test it with multiple parks...and the they will change it from a limit of 3 to 3 active at a time...and then we won't have anything to talk about anymore.

Explain the math that supports more than 3 FP+ for everyone. I can't wait to see that.

The only reason it's even remotely useable now, in Mid-January, is that day of off-site guests are getting royally hosed.

How will more rides be available when EVERYONE is prebooking?

Alright so let me get this straight...

AP with No Resort Res can get up to 7 days of FP+ 60 days in advance?

AP with Resort Res can get length of stay FP+ 60 Days in advance?

If the above is true....It is interesting they only allow 7 days but I guess they had to pick a number.

Yes, they had to pick a low number, otherwise local AP holders could (and some would) book "just in case" FP+ reservations every day for 60 days at a time, most of which would go unused. Some will still do this 7 days at a time - bet on it.

That is perfect. Just want to make sure I have everything straight. Thanks!

OP, were you offered this opportunity right at the turnstiles? Taking DBF and a friend, who are also AP holders, this weekend. I already have an MB from a quick trip with my mom, so I'm hoping they get to have MBs soon so we can pre-plan...

I only stayed for 5 nights with an AP, so I can't say for sure. However, I have seen several posts from people saying they were staying for > 7 days at a Disney resort, but they were still only allowed to book 7 days of FP+ because the ticket linked to their account was an AP.

Disney will fix this. They will require a credit card to book FP+ times and will charge you a fee for FP+ returns that go unused!!
