FP+ for parade? Is it worth it?

Need some quick advice. Leave today for WDW! I have one full day, and two partial days at MK to allow for as many FP+ as possible in this particular park, as it is my DDs favorite park.

Afternoon Parade: Is it worth a FP+? We already have A&E, Enchanted, Peter Pan, Buzz, Thunder Mt., MSEP, Wishes, Under Sea, Splash.

My question is this: I am concerned about the direct sun in May. Should we use this FP+ for Haunted, Pirates, meet Ariel. Will we be like the smores we will consume and be toasted if we view the parade from this spot? Anyone recently use a FP+ for the parade? What do you think?

We just used FP+ on Tuesday for the MK afternoon parade. It was very sunny and hot in that location but worth the use of a FP+.
