FP+ for one day in Epcot!

I haven't been to WDW since I was 13...which was 12 years ago already! Needless to say, the whole FP+ thing is new to me (used to the Disneyland way now) and I just wanted to see if this all sounds ok. We are only at the park for one day, and since Epcot is so different from anything in Disneyland (our home park), I wanted to spend our time there. I chose FP+ for Thurs Nov 3 at:

Spaceship Earth 9-10am
Mission Space 10:25-11:25am
Test Track 11:50-12:50pm

Basically, spend our morning in Future World enjoying the rides and everything, and then around 1pm head to World Showcase, eat lunch, and spend the rest of the afternoon/evening there.

I'm not really interested too much in Soarin' if the line is too long. If we happen to see that wait time is short we'll head over but otherwise my husband and I are both fine missing it.

We WOULD like to see Illuminations from a public area if possible. It starts at 9pm so I'm think we'll have to head somewhere around 8 and just hang out? Hmm. Sorry if this doesn't go with the FP+ topic, but it is something we'd like to see if possible.

At rope drop, head to Soarin' as you have until 10:15 to enter the Spaceship Earth FP line.

You'll be able to view Illuminations from anywhere around the World Showcase. If you have a Chase Visa card, you can view from that area:
