FP for fireworks on July 3rd

Can anyone please confirm if they offer FP for the special fireworks on July 3rd? I think it's going to be crazy busy for these firwroks and I think FP will make it worth it not to pick out a good spot an hour or more before them. If not, where would people recommend to stand that we could see slide show, tink and a good view of fireworks without waiting over an hour?

Yes they do...but they're showing as "closed for refurbishment", which indicates the FPs are "sold out" or maybe even not being offered yet.

Pretty sure you mean MK as I don't think epcot does special fireworks on the 3rd.

Sorry...yes, I was talking about MK. When they are sold out it usaully says "standby only" so that is why I was thinking maybe they don't offer them for the special fireworks. I don't think they offer the dessert option for them so maybe no FP either? Can anyone else confirm?

If htey didn't offer them I'd think they wouldn't be on the list at all.

I think they DO have the dessert party but charge more for it. I could be wrong.

I've been checking since my 60 day window opened up. FP for the fireworks both before and after the holidays showed up a few weeks ago, so I don't know what to make of the situation either.

Where are you seeing that they're closed for refurbishment or that things are Standby? When I go to "Things to Do" => Entertainment, for July 3rd at MK, it lists Wishes as schedule unavailable. When I go to MDE => Fastpass (on either the website or the App), the things that are unavailable (i.e. A&E) just don't show up in the list at all (it's not like they're grayed out, or listed as standby). Thanks!

That's because Wishes (the regular MK fireworks show) is NOT available.
Wishes is not running on July 3 and 4.

The fireworks show that is running on July 3 and 4 is "Disney's Celebrate America! - A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky."

I don't know if or when FP+ will show up for scheduling those nights, and I'm not sure how much of that long name will
be used in the listing when and if the listing does appear.

Should I be using a different web browser or something? Or are they using something besides MDE?

There's no way to know WHAT, IF, WHEN, or WHERE they will be or won't be listing FP+ for this.

FP+ is still in flux and some listings are flipping around like a loose fire hose.

I realize this post was from last year and things have changed a lot, but I'm trying to plan for this year and any info will help. Does anyone know if a FP was eventually offered last year for the fireworks on July 3/4?
