I hate to do this, because I'm sure this topic has been addressed many times previously, but I just can't figure out how to search for the answer . . .
We are WDW veterans. We believe in Rope Drop and (in the good old days) hoarding FastPasses until later in the day. When they started enforcing Fast Pass return times and introduced the FP+ system (but when you could still use a plastic park ticket to get additional, overlapping paper FPs), we really were able to rack up the FPs. Under both systems, we were always able to ride most of the "biggies" (Splash, Thunder, Space . . . not TSMM or Soarin' though) 3-4 times or even more in a given day.
Now I'm a little befuddled by the new all FP+ system. I know that you can only get 3 FP+ in one park per day. At first I thought 3 FP+ was the maximum, but based on what I've read recently, am I correct that it's still a "rolling" system - once you use your first FP+, you can add another? You use your 2nd FP+ you can add yet another and so on?
If anyone could give me a quick summary, I'd really appreciate it. Honestly, when I thought you could ONLY get 3 FP+s per day, I was ready to abandon Disney because we are standby line snobs - we generally refuse to stand in anything longer than 20-30 minutes; we've just been so spoiled by the past systems!!
Would love to hear thoughts on people who are Disney visitors like we are (were) and how you've adapted the FP+ system to this type of park visit. Please, convince me I don't need to abandon WDW!!
Thanks!!
