FP+ Expectations Only 8 Days out...?

So my uncle, a retired CM from Disneyland, gave me 3 old non expiring hopper comp tickets he found in his drawer from back in the day (like the days when they got the dates stamped on them before AK even existed). I called CM ticket services and they told me they were still valid but I had to wait to exchange them once I arrived. We are coming down in July and staying at SSR for about 10 days and once I get there I plan to go to guest services and exchange these for the hard tickets immediately so that I can link to MDE so that I can make my FP+ selections. I was wanting to know, from some of you who have experience so far with the new system, what to expect as far as availability of main attraction rides such as both mountains and SDMT if I am only able to make my FP+ selections 8 days before going. For instance, will there still be selections available for all three around or before noon? 3 PM? 6 PM? These will be for Saturday July 19 and I'm just wondering so that I can plan my day efficiently. Right now I plan on taking the family to AM EMH at HS from 8-12 but saving my FP+ selections for MK where we will be from 1-7 while we wait on 9:30 flight departure.

I've always gotten everything I wanted the same day, even though I might not have gotten the exact times I wanted.

Do them as soon as you can to get the best choice of times.

You probably won't get Anna and Elsa if you're looking for them, but most everything else, sure, unless you have a lage party.

There will only be 4 of us in the party and what I'm hoping for is to make all 3 of these selections (Thunder/Space/SDMT) all in the 1:00 - 5:00 window. Just wondering if this is a realistic expectation on a Saturday in mid July because I have no idea what to expect.

I am not sure anybody knows to expect in July as it's only been working since October. I don't know how you'll do squeezing all the mountains into 4 hours. You should make those reservations as soon as you can, I'd think if you do anything except make them that exact day, you should be able to work out something.
