Fp+ epcot question

I'm going in sept and do not need many fp at epcot except for soarin and TT but with the tiering it messes us up. Can we book three fp+ So like example let's say we book for soarin, MS and figment, but book the figment one early and not use it, then I'll have three fp+ scheduled and when we get to the park and the two fp+ we want and use we can then get a fourth fp+ for TT. Does that make sense??

Only problem you might run into is you can't book in the same hour, so if you set:

Figment 9-10
Soarin 10-11
MS 11-12

and you get off MS at 11:15, depending on park crowds that day TT FP may already be gone for the day.

You can also cancel the unwanted FP before entering the park. After you use the two that you want, you can book an additional FP from either tier.

I did this in early June and cancelled both my Tier 2 FPs. I went to the park with just Soarin'. As soon as we were done riding Soarin', we were able to book TT at the kiosk.
