FP enforcement really sucks

I was not vastly overstating the wait time for fast passes in February; I saw it with my own eyes and read the sign that said "hour wait from here".

Sure, how busy a ride is changes each month and as it loses it's newness but don't imply people are lying or "overstating" the facts.

My point is that if there is any wait for any fast pass line, I don't think it's the wisest way to achieve getting on the ride, generally speaking. We also don't wait longer than 30-40 minutes for any ride no matter what time of year so we do use fast passes to our advantage. Standing in line for a fast pass, is, in my opinion, not a good use of my time when I could be on a different ride or having lunch, etc...... We are willing to walk away and do something else and plan our trips during non peak times to achieve our goals of not waiting for extended periods.....

Sorry, what I meant was that people are still saying there are hour long waits for RSR FPs, which is an overstatement of what the waits have been recently. The demand for RSR FPs have begun to diminish slightly and you no longer have to wait for them if your schedule is flexible. The wait for them was long, but it is improving now.

And my point was that people have different needs and priorities for a ride that may make getting the FP worthwhile even though there is a wait. I don't think we can say that no one should ever stand in a FP line. I know for myself, I was glad to have a RsR FP several times when RSR went down and all those in standby left the line and had wasted who knows how long without a ride. I just kept my FP and showed up later that same day. That is just one reason why someone might prefer to stand in line.

I've never experienced a FP line that was actually longer than the ride line itself, so I can't answer your question. I can see waiting in a short FP line early in the morning in order to save myself a long wait in line on that ride later in the day...especially if I want to ride that ride at a specific time of day (like Splash or GRR when its hot, or RSR or BTMRR when it's dark).

Aside from RSR, I have never seen a line to get a FP ever - now maybe during spring break, christmas, but I'd never go during that time? Are you just talking about RSR, or are you talking about other rides, when have you seen lines to get a FP for the other rides?

July 2011 July 2012 never saw a line for FP for any ride, other than RSR, and RSR was only in the morning... and standby was 2 1/2 hours during the day, so waiting for a while -- some of the time while none of the rides were even open -- was no big deal.
