FP+ Crackdown Software Flawed

But. Isn't that what's going on with the op? He's using it correctly but he's blocked?

I'm on mobile and can't see signatures to find out if they were there since June 7, so maybe I'm missing something. But nothing on his post says he had previously done what you've said has to happen for his account to be locked.
But OP is only thinking his account is locking up each day. FP#4s cannot be booked on a locked account. OP has never stated he called the phone number. A phone call must be placed to IT to remove the lock.

He has not shared if he has allowed others to use his Profile with booked FPs when he was not in the park.

The only thing that now causes a lock is if FPs are used and a linked ticket has not been used for park entry.

The OP is basing it on bad software when he has not given any background info regarding FP usage on his account.

As a cast member this is even more confusing. We have a silver pass and four guest passes to use with it. I made fast passes on three of them. But the pass numbers in MDE don't match the numbers on the card. So I'm not sure which cards have the fast passes and which one doesn't.

If I use the wrong card to enter the park, my account will get locked.

I'm stuck!

It should be the last 3 numbers of the Guest Pass that shows in MDE.

Be very careful. With only 1 usage of a FP when a Guest Pass has not been used for entry, the CMs' accounts are being locked. If a CM does this for a 2nd time, booking FPs for that MDE is no longer allowed.

Thanks! The numbers don't match. Completely different. So I will be able to use my prebooked fast passes but won't be allowed 4th? I'll have to figure all this out before we leave somehow. Wish there was a better way to know.

OP: did guest services actually say they "unlocked" your account? Most likely it was never actually unlocked (they just gave you anytime FPs and sent you on your way), which is why you had this problem over and over. It probably still isn't unlocked (see if you can book 30-day out FPs). Give IT a call at the number the popup gave you and see what they say. Now, what caused the lock in the first place is the question... did you and your wife ever switch bands -- or did one of you not enter the park some days (but used the other's band for a FP)?

Previous lock reports were of accounts that got locked after several days of using FPs from profiles that didn't enter the park. Except for CMs... there are reports of CMs entering backstage ONE time and getting their account locked after using a FP.

You will be able to use your pre-booked FPs and book your 4th FPs.

The problem is if you have FPs for
Guest Pass 1, 2, and 3
and one of your Guests enters with Guest Pass #4 instead of #3, they won't have any FPs.

And, you can't let them use the FPs for Guest Pass #3 or the system will lock your account.

You should call and get Guest Passes that match up with MDE.

@BraveLittleToaster2 - what you can do right now is:

Go to each FP and Change Party to add your last Guest Pass to each booked FP.

Then, when your group enters the park, each Guest Pass has pre-booked FPs. It won't matter who has which Guest Pass because each Pass has FPs linked to them.

Great idea! But I have fast passes for avatar rides etc. Will it really allow me to add another pass when there likely aren't any fp left for those rided.?

More than likely not at all.

I cannot figure out a way for you to determine which Guest Passes were used to enter a park - probably because I'm binge-watching "The 100" on Netflix right now. :)

You can do this:

After entering a park, go to Guest Relations to have them identify which Passes were used to enter.
If it's 1, 2, and 4, do this:

Go to each booked FPs for that park and Change Party so that FPs link to 1, 2, and 4.

But Guest Relations will have to help you match up GPs with the weird numbers in your MDE.

Each time they unblocked my account. I was then able to book a 4th, 5th, nth FP for myself (in addition to the any times). Then the next day I was blocked again. The only time I wasn't blocked was the day after talking to a manager at Magic Kingdom who worked with IT the next morning to make sure I didn't get blocked. That day I was fine, so I thought everything was solved. Then, the day after at Animal Kingdom it happened again which put me over the edge.

Each time I was at guest relations, they confirmed I entered the park and used my FP and had no rationale for why I was blocked. No one else used my band or ticket at any point for any purpose. I know that I was blocked in at least 6 of 8 Park days.

Now on magical express. We didn't use all three FP today, so don't know if I would have been blocked or not.

I will be calling the IT number on Monday. I have a case number assigned during my trip and I'm going to call them every day until they give me an explanation as to why the problem was occurring.

I will be back for Marathon weekend, but was contemplating going back for my anniversary in October. Those plans are on hold if I don't get an answer.

I don't know that it will help, but I will be writing a letter as well.

When you talk to IT, ask them if your park entry was noted in their/your MDE database: your specific Profile.

Guest Relations could see that you entered the park but that data would also have to be applied to your specific MDE Profile. If not, your FP would be used without a ticket being used for entry based on your MDE.

There was another AP holder who entered the parks, used FPs, and the MDE system never noted in his MDE Profile that he had entered the park and used his FPs. He had an infinite number of FPs each time he was in a park.

It sounds like this may be happening with your AP.

This reminds me of the paper FP days when a ticket wouldn't work at a FP kiosk even though it had definitely been used at the park entrance. The CM at the kiosk would hand you a "FP key" (which looked like a ticket, but was only good for FP on that day). This is the same kind of issue. But obviously much complicated by the whole FP and lockout issues.

I am back from my trip and looked to see if I could book future fastpasses for my annual pass. I could not... blocked again.

I called the number and spoke to a rep for 20 minutes. They still have not figured out what is going on with my account. They unblocked me again.

I told them I was planning a trip in October and would be making 60 day FP+ in two weeks. They said they are still doing analysis on it and would get back to me. I figure I will give them a week and check back, unless I'm re-blocked tomorrow.

That is just all kinds of crazy. Looking forward to hearing what they find out.

Thanks for the update. You'll probably be fine to book FPs now, until you use FPs again.

It sounds like your MDE, for whatever reason, isn't marking your park entry (the taps tiles see a valid ticket, let you in, but that information isn't making it's way back to your MDE -- then you use an FP and your MDE didn't have confirmation you entered the park = lock city). I wonder what would happen if you had multi-day tickets (I thought you said you had APs), would entering a park actually use a day from the ticket?

Ugh, how frustrating, and I bet you've lost a lot of trip time standing in line at guest services.

I'd set up a new account with new tickets for October...
