FP+ confusion

Conclusion I've come to is I'm making more out of this than there needs to be:/

However, my disney experience app picks three fast pass choices for me regardless if I pick three or not? Any way around this? Once we use these can we get more FP if there are any left?

Some of the time choices I am given are not ideal for us with two young children. I know you get what you get. We will be going in about 2.5 weeks and we have always gone about this time and have never really waited in terrible lines. Knock on wood. I guess my dilemma is do we take these times or take our chances and get to the parks early, which we usually do and ride what doesn't have a wait and get fast passes for whatever else at the kiosks? Are the kiosks giving out any different/better times than what I'm getting online?

Really not sure if I like the FP+ or not. I guess we need to use it to learn it as I guess it is here to stay.

You can change your FPs to any available ride or time. But you have to select 3 or none at all.

In the near future, you should be able to get a 4th one in the parks.

Pick one of the (usually 4) pre-selected schedules.
After you have them selected, you can edit each FP+ individually to pick a better time for your touring plan.
