I have already read a lot of advice here on how to book, how to move, strategies for Anna/Elsa, etc. Here is my question (s):

We will be there late September and are rope drop people. A couple days we are park hopping, but because we don't have summer hours, we are more likely staying at one park all day.

If the park opens at 9, should I start my fastpass windows at 10-11, 11-12, 12-1 and possibly book a 4th around 12:30 for after lunch? If the park opened at 7 or 8, or if the parks were open to midnight the night before, I would expect lower crowds at rope drop - but with a 9 am opening - imaging crowds start pretty early?

OR are 2 hours usually safe and I start my windows 11-12; 12-1 and 2-3 (with time for lunch thrown in)?

I figure we will push the actual time of our first FP as late in the window as possible depending on crowds.

Also - what is the current wait time with a FP for (a) Anna/Elsa; (b) Soarin; (c) 7DMT and (d) TSMM? I'm wondering if I push these too late in the window (say 10/15 minutes before the next ones start), do I risk not being done and to the next FP in time? I can't imagine taking over an hour with a FP, but have been the unfortunate recipient of mis-counting on Soarin' once and am a little scarred...

Thanks in advance for any input!

Rarely does any FP wait exceed 15 minutes or so--including A/E. Soarin' can be an exception due to the merge point being relatively far from the boarding area, but even then you might be looking at 20-25 minutes tops.

The suggestion seems to be to book as early in the day as possible. That way, once you have finished all of them, you can get more at a kiosk and actually have a chance at a decent selection. You can only reserve 3 ahead of time. I believe that once you have used those 3, or they expire, you can book 1 additional one at the park kiosks. Then use it, or let it expire, and book another. See if this link works for you; it may require a subscription.
