FP+ booked for Dec but changing hotel reservation

Hello!

I've got FP+ booked for our trip at the beginning of December, but I'm changing my resort reservation. I'll be dropping some days from my hotel stay booked through a travel agent, but picking up the same days via a DVC reservation. If I add the DVC reservation to my account first, then drop the days from my original hotel reservation, will my FP+ for those days stay intact?
