I am trying to book FP+ for the first week in April. My DD is staying onsite with friends. DW and I are offsite that week. DD has an AP.

Here's what I have done so far:

My DD has an offsite trip planned in March 19-21, with FP+ scheduled for three days. She is also going to be onsite for April 1-8. When I booked all our original FP+, I did not schedule any for April 6, as we had other plans. Now, I am trying to book them for her at MK for that day, but the system tells me that she has reached her FP+ limit. How can that be if she is staying onsite and has an AP? The three dates in March are now within her 30-day window for offsite, so they should not be impacting the April 6th ones.

What am I missing?

Sounds like it's that pesky "AP off-site 7-day FP+ limit" thing.

Below is a quote from the venerable FP+ Info Thread...

6. Annual Pass (AP) holders can prebook attractions up to 60 days in advance of the beginning of an onsite stay, for a maximum of 7 days or the length of the onsite stay--whichever is greater. As with above, FP+ selections can be made for the entire length of stay.

7. AP holders without an onsite reservation can book up to 30 days in advance, for a maximum of 7 days. Once one of those 7 days passes or is used, an additional day of FP+ can be prebooked, ad infinitum. This can be done via the MDX website or app, and can be done with AP vouchers as well.

When dealing with a combination of non-continuous on-site and off-site stays,
the problem seems to rare its head.

Thank you for the reply.

So, the 7-day AP allotment and the 8 day stay overlap and only allow for 7 days to be booked?

I guess I assumed that if her onsite stay was 8 days, that would trump her 7-day AP limit. She currently only has FP+ made for 4 of her 8 days when she is onsite.

You talked about the three dates in March.
If those have FP+ booked, they would likely affect the on-site stay as well.
They are all in reference to the same AP.

BTW, without doing anything else, it is quite possible that after the first day of FP+ use in March, another day of FP+ booking MIGHT appear to use on the April trip.
Otherwise, at least by the END of the March trip (end of the 3rd day) the "conflict" (if that's what it is) will be gone and you have a decent lead-time to book the extra April date.

Otherwise, you could call Disney IT and see if they can help you.
