Tonight my fast pass plus window begins at midnight I believe. Do I really have to stay up until midnight to get the mine train! I am more of an early riser been a night owl! I am dreading staying up until midnight on a work night.

Same here! My Fast Pass window opens next week and my kids MUST HAVE Anna and Elsa. Seriously the world will end if they do not get those fast passes. I am a go to bed early get up early type of person, lol. The things we do for our kids! My husband and I decided we are going to have our own little like pre-fast pass party to keep each other awake until midnight so we get the Anna and Elsa fast pass, lol...Fingers crossed!

I was up at midnight today (or 5am UK time) and managed to get A&E no problem - there was even availability Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday (day 1 and 2 of our trip!). There was loads of SDMT availability this morning and still is now, and this is for a peak week, so I would hope you would be ok even if you didn't manage to stay up.

ugh.. do you seriously have to get your FP ASAP for the Mine Train? That is a must for our next trip because it was still under construction on our last trip. :(

Thanks for the info! Which time zone is it based on anyhow? I am central

Eastern. So you would be able to start booking at 11:00.

From what I've been reading, SDMT and A&E are the ones you have to book right when your window opens.

:( we did Anna and Elsa last visit.. we were able to book a breakfast at Akerasus (spell check).. and jumped in line before the gates to the park opened.. so that one is done.. Of course.. might have to do it again..

It's Fl time so if you are central you only have to stay up till 11 :). We stayed up to do ours and still had troulbe getting A&E and SDMT. We couldn't get either on our 1st MK day. Luckily we are going twice to MK.

I can't find Mesaboy's signature link where all Fastpass necessities are explained :(
Actually, I can't see any signatures!

My older son wants mine train as well. We missed the opening by a month on our last trip. I am a little sketchy bc I heard its a tight fit on those mine train cars. If we get a fast pass great, if we don't I don't think it will be the end of the world for him, bc he will still have barnstormer and thunder mountain. But yes we are trying to get that pass as well when we stay up til Midnight next week. I feel really bad for the off siters though. I heard they have access to fast passes at 30 days but its not for their whole trip. They have to stay up til midnight multiple days to get the passes they want. That really sucks. I guess Disney wants people to have more incentive to spend the thousands of dollars it cost to say on site :sad1::sad1::sad1:

how far out do you start booking FPs? My current arrival date is May 30th.. subject to change.. ;)

11 is much better than midnight for me! I am getting exited. We are a family of five. All boys but me! So no Elsa and Anna for us! Littlest one turns four March 29th and finally has hit the height requirements for the mild coasters! Mine Train is a must for all of us! Last year it wasn't open yet! :)

Are you viewing on a mobile device or laptop? Signatures show on my tablet (windows surface), but not on my android phone. It's part of the responsiveness to make the site mobile friendly, signatures may not show on all mobile devices.

If you are onsite, you can book for your entire trip at 60 days out. If you are offsite then your window opens at 30 days (but you have to go online at 30 days out for each day of your trip..can only book 1 day of your trip at a time if offsite).

For whatever reason, for both my September trip and my upcoming March trip, it would not let me book at 60 days out at Midnight via the app. The next morning, at 6 AM, I was able to book my FP+ with no problem. We got both Anna and Elsa and 7DMT at 6 or 7 AM the next morning with no problems.

If you really want a fp for it, then yes I would get online at 60 days, and try first for the latest days in your trip. That will give you more flexibility in choosing times.

I wouldn't try to convince you to go to bed and then be responsible for you missing out, BUT. . . If you have a few MK days in your trip, and your party isn't too large, and it wouldn't be the end of the world to miss this FP, I personally would take the chance and go to bed. It looks like a lot of people still have availability by morning of their 60-day, even if it isn't quite as many choices as at midnight and that was my experience as well when I booked for a group of 12. If my schedule was pretty flexible and I wasn't a night person, I'd risk it (but it definitely is a bit of a risk!)

Luckily for us MK days (2) are later in our trip! However, I don't want to miss out on Mine Train! So I will def stay up tonight!
