FP+ and Split Stay

I am headed to WDW in July. Right now we are checking into Caribbean Beach on Friday, July 24 and check out Aug. 1. But we have comp days coming at a Deluxe, which we will use for our first two days.

My question: if I book my FP+ when my window opens on Memorial Day (in relation to by CBR ressie) but end up dropping a few CBR days and adding the deluxe at the beginning (when I get the info to do so), will I lose my FP+ selections?

I thnk your FP+ are just tied to your tickets and not necessarily your room, so I think you are fine. I think that's why some people were booking a room just to get magicbands and fp reservations 60 days out, and then canceling it later.
