FP+ And Non Expiring Tickets

I have some questions about FP+, staying off site, and the non-expiring tickets.

Our family still has some days on NE tickets and we stay offsite.

Reading some info here about FP+, I don't see how guests with NE tickets will be able to use this. Anyone know?

Based on a particular analysis I read, while we have a great deal with our NE tix, if the FP+ system is used and we have no way to use it, I fear we will be blocked out from the best rides?

Also, I read that offsite guests can use FP+, but will that only be with the purchase of the magic bands? And will you have to purchase your magic bands months in advance to be able to book the FP+ when the booking window opens?

I'm wondering if the NE tix are really all that great of a deal (in terms of the experience we'll have) if we are blocked from rides due to this new system.

I would expect that using leftover non-expiring tickets would be no different than using tickets purchased just outside the park when you arrive that day or tickets that arrived in the mail from Undercover Tourist before you boarded the plane for Orlando.

The details are still sketchy. Even the magic bands are currently in use only at a few resorts since the testing stage is not over.

They could but probably would not require that you have your ticket in hand (or a resort reservation made) before you can book advanced ride reservations (ARRs, FP+s). If per chance this were so then leftover non-expiring tickets would have an advantage over waiting untll you got there to buy tickets at the gate.

I don't believe there is any reason to expect that No Expiration tickets, partially used or otherwise, would be excluded from using FP+ at all...you may not be able to use it in the first few phases as they roll it out, though. Regular Fastpass should still be available in the meantime.

There are many questions still remaining on how separate tickets will be handled.

I think there may be complications in handling NE tickets, which is why they are making them harder to buy and perhaps phasing them out...but they will still need to accommodate them.
